How To Book A Mentoring Appointment

0:01 Hey everyone, my name is Daniel from Financial Literacy Australia. So today, we're going to book a virtual face-to-face mentoring appointment.

0:11 So all we have to do is head to the Financial Literacy Australia website. So it's F-L-A-U-S dot com dot au.

0:20 So once we've landed on this website, we'll scroll to the more section here. So once we click on that, we scroll to the book mentoring.

0:35 It might look slightly different on mobile phones, but you still click at the top and click book mentoring.

0:47 So once we're on this page. It will load a form so we'll have to fill it out to schedule the appointment.

0:56 The first question is, do you or the participant have an active service agreement with Financial Literacy Australia? Yes.

1:05 We'll put our name in, so I've already pre-filled these, so your name and email, Daniel Ross and then the email address are yours.

1:17 So here we just pop your NDIS number in here. And then, would you like to book a virtual face-to-face mentoring appointment?

1:28 Yes, we will. So here, we've just got to select a day and time that suits you best, so I'll move this over.

1:36 Here. So, we've got the month here, so I might want to book an appointment for Wednesday. We've got our time zones here too, so say if we're in Perth, we can schedule it to suit the Perth time so we know everyone's on the same page.

1:58 So you just have to click there, your location. So here, we can select a few times. We might say we are available at 12pm on Tuesday.

2:17 So here, we have to enter our details again. So I'll just put Daniel Ross and my email. And if we have a support worker or a family or friend member who'd like to attend, we can add guests.

2:32 We can pop their emails in there. So if we go, family. And here we can choose between the two locations where we want to host the meeting.

2:49 So you can either have it through Zoom, an application where we can talk to each other, similar to what I'm doing to you now, or we can have it through a phone call, where we, I'll give you a call.

3:03 So, if you want to have it through a phone call, pop your number in here. Or, if we will have it through Zoom, you can click that one there.

3:14 So once we click the next schedule event, you'll receive an email to this email address. Now, in the email, it will tell you it'll have a link, and the link You have to do is click on it on the day that your appointment is.

3:32 So it's straightforward. You can do it on your phone; you can do it on a laptop. If you can't, a support worker can help you as well.

3:41 Uhm, yeah, it's pretty simple. It'll remind you, uhm, it can schedule it in your calendar. So yeah, on the day of the appointment, you only have to click on the link to open it up.

3:53 Uhm, you don't have to have the webcam on if you don't want to, uhm, and yeah, it's straightforward. Then we can.

4:00 Start the mentoring. And yeah, I think that's it for the mentoring appointment. So yeah, you have to click schedule at the end, and that's all done.

4:10 Thanks, guys.
